~~Who are you?
My name is Alexander (most people call me Alex, though).
I am currently art student focusing on Graphic Design in Hamburg.
I grew up in Minden-Lübbecke which is located in the middle west of Germany.
In autunum of 2000, I moved north to Stade, which is close to Hamburg.
There I made my “Fachabitur”, which is not exactly the best graduation you can get here, but it’s close to it. (I was lazy, that’s all )

~~What is your artistic passion?
I have quite a lot of artistic passions. That’s because I don’t grow tired of trying new medias and experimenting with what I already know. Momentarily, I use to sketch a lot, but I also experienced a few ways of painting, mostly acryl, sometimes oil. I also enjoy to tinker a lot. Those artworks are mostly depending on the basis I get an idea from. I’ve also got into installations a few years ago during my class’ art excursion to Greece. Sticks, stones and a LOT of string. And olive trees.
I also enjoy retexturing stuff from the game: The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. I don’t play it anymore. I just abuse it as my Sandbox XDD

~~Why did you get into art?
Oh… err… Well… I didn’t exactly get into it. I guess I was born this way.
No, seriously. My first “art piece” was when I pooh’d as a baby into our living room and decorated it with chess pieces. I know. Gross. I’d rather had taken modelling clay for that
And then after I gained more and more consciousness (yes, it felt as if I wasn’t really there in the first years and got “uploaded” to my body bit for bit during the years.), I got into the comic books of my older brother and saw his video games. That’s where it all started. I started to evolve my own heroes and stuff and… yeah. Rest is a long process of gaining abilities.

~~How do you inspire yourself?
Music. And… Music… err… did I mention music?
Well not only music but it’s of course the main inspiration source for me. I have different ways of inspiration. Movies, novels, videogames. A lot of stuff. Even dreams I use to have sometimes inspire me to do art and based on that, I evolve a lot more.

~~Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
Maybe… no. I won’t start the maybes right now. If there’s one thing I learned, then it its following:
Life is life. You fall down, you stand up again.

Whatever will be in 5 years. (And even if the rumors about “the end of the world” are true. Meh 2000 has passed and we still are here!) I’ll do what I do. And it’ll be all right.
